last night i got news about the new sonic game from i was like yeah let's see how much lamer sonic is getting and when i watched the trailer,i was like meh.this new sonic game just seems like another ruse by Sega just trying to make a quick buck off it's fanbase and further drive away it's loyal fan base from the genesis era.

let's review this trailer for a second,the biggest problem with this trailer is that it only shows 5 seconds of gameplay footage out of a 45 second trailer.second the visual style isn't that impressive considering that this was used before in the Sonic Rush series which doesn't necessary hold up to the genesis era sonic games standards but is far better than any shit on the consoles nowadays.

i didn't notice the glaring problems with the 5 seconds of gameplay footage until seeing this trailer again today around 12 noon,i saw it the first time around 3 am,when i was sleepy so i didn't notice the biggest problem right away.it wasn't until after reading journal about his thoughts on the game did i go back to the game stop video and looked at the video at least 2 more times to notice a major problem with the physics.

Sonic's running animation though cool at first glance,doesn't seem natural,espeically given he is in a 2d environment and his 3d sprite doesn't sync well with the environment,looking more rather like a green screen cut out.also the physics are pretty much off,he is running at full speed while running uphill,which goes against the very basics of the laws of phyiscs.if these isssues are not fixed within the release of this game,it will be much like a 2D verison of sonic 06.

it seems Sega has a new cheap gimmick in this game as well.they say that around this game a new character will be introduced into the series in this game.oh great another cheap useless character,like Sega didn't have enough of those already.i mean big the cat,cream the rabbit,jet the hawk,silver the hedgehog and chip are pretty much useless characters already who never were useful in the first place.characters like tikai,Amy,Shadow and Rouge where only useful within the sonic adventure series and lost relevance and importance since then,espeically after sonic 06 which just ruined them all together and even Tails and Knulces,two of the most useful characters in the series is within the unemployment line because of the continued path of irrelevancy thanks to Sega's additute towards sonic and there preference to making a gimmicky character for every new game over using character with real usefulness.

gods knows what this new character will be,he will be either a lame useless support character much like Chip,who is really a Rip-off of Minda with no personality,no character development and no use whatsoever much unlike the real Minda or a useless Playable character who sucks on every level much like sliver the hegdehog.it doesn't matter anyways,my hopes for a good sonic game pretty much died after Sonic Unleashed so i don't give a shit anymore.

Well Sega no longer cares for the blue hedgehog that made them famous to begin with,that's the sad truth to it.The Sonic Team have lost their quality touch. They are worse than talentless: they are without passion. Bored, weary, closed-minded and out of touch with any sense of what makes games good anymore. what's worse is that there are some sonic fans who still like these horrible games,they are partially to blame,thanks to them we have to suffer the consequences of these lifeless sonic games which lack the quality of the past


it seems that sonic games get progressively worse per every false promise ever since sonic 06,they have a very long way to go and they will need to pull a miracle to make a good game which i seriously doubt they would.it's time Sega stopped pretending like classic Sonic fans are the target audience for this game. Seems about as true as it was when they said the same thing about Sonic Rush. Which is to say, not at all.i wouldn't hold my breath on this game.
